Sweet Saturday 33: We're Newbies!

I missed contributing to Jona's Meme Sweet Saturday. I'm sorry for missing out a lot. So now, here I am joining back again! I'm also linking this up with Yummy Sunday. What new things do you and your spouse have this year? Or, is there a new place, new resto, new food or new activity that you want to do together or you’ve tried out early on in the year? We are not planning on some particular new things that we wanted to do together but there is this Korean Restaurant along Macapagal Avenue that we tried and that we cannot forget and actually have added up to our 'best restaurants list'. I forgot the name nga lang because we were so hungry. Haha. It was last Sunday night when we were invited by a good friend to celebrate Chinese New Year with him and some other folks. Chinese New Year Celebration at Church

It's my first time to have celebrated Chinese New Year with the Chinese Congregation which is of course with my husband who is pastoring the said congregation. And I must say that it's fun! I admired how they celebrated it with Chinese traditions during this festive season. Here are the events that happened today: 1. We worshiped together in the chapel and had invited a speaker to join us. Our worship was filled with Chinese worship songs and praises for the Lord. 2. Right after the service, we proceeded to the 2nd floor to where we held our lunch fellowship. The Mamas cooked shabu-shabu, the others brought food with them for us to share with. The most enjoyable part was when we made our own dumplings and cooked them by ourselves too! The many you make, the many you eat! Haha! And who forgets to eat Tikoy during Chinese New Year?
