Simple Dress and Nail Art Went to a Wedding

Hello girlies! This is my first time to blog using Blogpress! Isn't it great? Lol!

Anyway, if you remembered my previous post, I was browsing the Internet for dresses that would help me think of what to wear to my best friend's wedding last Friday. Well, as I expected, I knew that I would just rumble on the dresses I have in my closet. I was actually thinking of buying a new one. Well, I did went to the mall to look for a good one but oh! The prices were stunning! And so I thought maybe, it's better to just make use of the dress that I already have. Plus I do think that this 'ukay-ukay' dress still look great, right?

That's me and my pianist preparing to sing!

Of course, as I promised to myself that I would get a nail art to go with the dress, my mom was obliged to come and get my nails done the night before the wedding. Haha! Don't worry because my mom was happy to do it since she bought this new apparatus, I don't know if that's the right term for it, that help her do arts with nail polish. It looked like a syringe actually. My mom enjoyed doing trial and errors on my nails. Since she's still learning with it, she made it as simple as possible just how I wanted it to be. I'm so proud of my mom that she finally thought of starting to do nail arts to attract more customers. As simple as it is, this is how it looks like.

All in all, the wedding went great and it was the happiest and noisiest wedding I've ever seen! Everybody were cheering for the newly weds every now and then.

Valentine's Dinner Date

My hubby and I had an early Valentines dinner date which was last Sunday night. He always hate traffic which is expected on that sweet day. And so, he thought of having dinner with me earlier at Don Henrico's along Midtown Plaza! I was like grinning in excitement to taste this 14" pizza! I'm a pizza lover and my hubby exactly knows that. We also chose this special spot where there is this dim light so it looked even more romantic. Sorry, I only had taken a picture of the pizza for too much excitement to bite a slice. See that moved slice already? I was grabbing one when I remembered to take picture. And that couple in front of us wearing those exact same tshirt is an evidence that Valentines Day could be anytime! So fun! Just a very wise decision you two. You did the right thing of dating earlier just as we did! Linking with:

Sweet Saturday 17: Keys to a Happy Marriage #1 - Communication

This week's topic on Sweet Saturday is very interesting and I'll answer 2 out of  4 questions. What are the things that you have learned in your marriage about communication? I and my husband are still in the honeymoon stage for we're only married for almost 4 months. But I could say that communication is really a big part and an essential tool for a happy marriage. We may be beginning as a married couple but being boyfriend/girlfriend for 6 years, we've learned a lot. It gave us the time to know more about each other's likes and dislikes and MOST of all is that, we learned to communicate through talking. It's very important to us since we come from different race. (He's a Taiwanese and I, a Filipino) And so, it's a must to tell each other our feelings and opinions. When is the time when it's hard for you and your partner to communicate?  I have a very funny story about this. There was a time when I had something that I wanted him to...
