The Simplest Job I Ever Dreamed of Doing

When I was a little girl and we were living in this small town in our province, my mother used to bring me with her to a grocery store. Funny as it is, the best part for me is not the buying thing, it's when we pay at the cashier. In that cute age, I admire how cashiers do their work. I love how they focus on their job, punching those items that customers buy, counting the money, get the receipts, and give change. That's when I dreamed of becoming a cashier.

And so, during my "alone" playtime, I would look for a calculator and then imitate what cashiers do at the grocery store. It's cute really that up until now, I still have this love for computing things with calculators. And so when I become a teacher, computing grades is the best part of the job. I was thinking that if ever I had the chance to work as a cashier, I'll grab it, not because of the salary but because of the love for the job. I just want to satisfy myself. LOL!

Did you ever have the simplest job you ever dreamed of doing when you were a child? What is it and why? ;)

Valentine's Dinner Date

My hubby and I had an early Valentines dinner date which was last Sunday night. He always hate traffic which is expected on that sweet day. And so, he thought of having dinner with me earlier at Don Henrico's along Midtown Plaza! I was like grinning in excitement to taste this 14" pizza! I'm a pizza lover and my hubby exactly knows that. We also chose this special spot where there is this dim light so it looked even more romantic. Sorry, I only had taken a picture of the pizza for too much excitement to bite a slice. See that moved slice already? I was grabbing one when I remembered to take picture. And that couple in front of us wearing those exact same tshirt is an evidence that Valentines Day could be anytime! So fun! Just a very wise decision you two. You did the right thing of dating earlier just as we did! Linking with:

Sweet Saturday 17: Keys to a Happy Marriage #1 - Communication

This week's topic on Sweet Saturday is very interesting and I'll answer 2 out of  4 questions. What are the things that you have learned in your marriage about communication? I and my husband are still in the honeymoon stage for we're only married for almost 4 months. But I could say that communication is really a big part and an essential tool for a happy marriage. We may be beginning as a married couple but being boyfriend/girlfriend for 6 years, we've learned a lot. It gave us the time to know more about each other's likes and dislikes and MOST of all is that, we learned to communicate through talking. It's very important to us since we come from different race. (He's a Taiwanese and I, a Filipino) And so, it's a must to tell each other our feelings and opinions. When is the time when it's hard for you and your partner to communicate?  I have a very funny story about this. There was a time when I had something that I wanted him to...
