Why Women are Said to be Stronger than Men

Watching TV Patrol tonight made me think about the fact that men could be stronger than women "physically", but... I disagree. This thought arose since circumcision is up again this summer and most of young teenagers, children and even men of matured age are getting their 'tool' circumcised. Don't lift that eyebrows just yet my dear men readers, because this is not something to compete with you nor be debated. Okay, then.. Debate is welcome here. I've actually discussed about this with my husband earlier and it was a healthy debate!

TV Patrol tonight featured the season for circumcision once again with of course, Marc Logan as the story-teller to make it more fun. As I was watching and entertained by the way Marc reported it, I saw the pain from those young men's faces while undergoing the circumcision process. Some were circumcised by a doctor, and others were done by soldiers on mission and "manunuli" in town.

Well, we cannot deny the fact that for men, being circumcised is the height of their masculinity. It's their ego that to be one, marks them to being "a man". Yeah, I do so agree. But then, I came to think too that circumcision is the only thing that a man undergoes to be able to say that they're certified strong men. Having that in mind, and hearing those debates that usually arise in this issue of men being physically stronger than women... I'd like to say that it's not totally true. Women endures pain of giving birth! And not only the pain of labor but also the pain of the actual birth of the child. From this fact, I'd say that women are stronger than men when it comes to tolerance of physical pain. I'm sure that you'll agree with me on this. I'm always in this pride that becoming a woman is something to be proud of! Truly, deeply and madly.. LOL!

So boys, once again, this is not something to compete with you but your thoughts are very much welcomed!

Valentine's Dinner Date

My hubby and I had an early Valentines dinner date which was last Sunday night. He always hate traffic which is expected on that sweet day. And so, he thought of having dinner with me earlier at Don Henrico's along Midtown Plaza! I was like grinning in excitement to taste this 14" pizza! I'm a pizza lover and my hubby exactly knows that. We also chose this special spot where there is this dim light so it looked even more romantic. Sorry, I only had taken a picture of the pizza for too much excitement to bite a slice. See that moved slice already? I was grabbing one when I remembered to take picture. And that couple in front of us wearing those exact same tshirt is an evidence that Valentines Day could be anytime! Red Glittery Nail Polish!

My mom came and visited us today. She's an awesome manicurist and so, I was very excited to have my nails done again. My hubby got his toe nails cleaned too. Well, it wasn't free though my mom said that I don't have to pay. I insisted. That's how I love her. I gave her awesome payment as well. So here is the after shot. I actually never liked red nail polish but my mom said to try it so I requested to apply some glittery effect to cover the plain redness. I loved it! Tagaytay Travel

Last two weeks ago, we had this 3-day conference for church workers in Manila Area which was held at CCT Tagaytay Retreat and Training Center - a fellowship/seminar/conference for the United Methodist Church workers. My husband, who is a Chinese pastor and I, a church musician, went and had the best experience there. We had the most and respectable speakers and lecturers who came and pastors from North Georgia were also present. Good thing that we were there and it was an awesome place! Not to mention the perfect cold weather that comforted us to sleep on those two nights. Since this Retreat and Training Center is new, which only started operating on June of last year, our church thought of doing our activity there. They had every facilities ready and of full service when we arrived. Almost a thousand delegates came and were happy of the venue! not only giving birth. we still have this monthly period. and sometimes, may kasama pang dysmenorrhea. tama ba spelling? haha.
